Ingredients
1 box (15.25 ounce) spice cake mix
1 can (15 ounce) pure pumpkin puree
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a standard 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the spice cake mix and the pumpkin puree until smooth and fully incorporated.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Ensure you use 100% pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling which already contains added sugars and spices. You can store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
