Description

A sweet and tangy Southern dessert made with Bisquick baking mix and fresh peaches. It’s a simple, one-bowl recipe that bakes into a golden, crisp topping over a syrupy fruit base. Quick, easy, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
1 cup milk (room temperature preferred)
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
4 cups peaches, peeled and sliced (fresh, frozen, or canned)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, soften the butter (microwave for 15–20 seconds if needed).
Add Bisquick, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar to melted butter. Mix until a thick, smooth batter forms.
Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a silicone spatula.
Gently spoon the sliced peaches over the batter.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes

Use a glass or ceramic baking dish for even cooking.
If using canned peaches, drain them well to prevent sogginess.
Fresh peaches are best in season, but frozen or canned work well too.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
