Description
These handheld sliders combine fluffy Hawaiian rolls with melty cheese, scrambled eggs, and a sweet maple butter topping. Perfect for quick meals or meal prep, they’re ready in 30 minutes and freeze well for easy weeknight breakfasts or lunches.
Ingredients
10 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 Hawaiian rolls
10–12 slices deli American cheese
9–12 slices halal-style smoked turkey (thin)
1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Whisk eggs, salt, pepper, and water in a bowl; occasionally stirring until just runny
Heat remaining 1 tbsp butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat
Add 3/4 of the egg mixture, cooking until softly set (no discernible liquid)
Evenly distribute egg mixture among rolls (1/12 each) with a small offset spatula
Top each roll with 1 cheese slice and 1 turkey slice
Place on two rimmed baking sheets in a single layer
Sprinkle lightly with pepper, brush rolls with remaining 1 tbsp butter
Mix maple syrup with a small brush, coating tops lightly
Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and cheese is fully melted
Notes
Substitute halal-style smoked turkey for ham
Freeze assembled sliders in airtight containers for up to 2 months
Assembly can be prepped overnight and refrigerated
